G8/G20 Campaign Mobilization

The Journey to the G8/G20

In June, the eyes of the world will be on Canada as host of the G8 and the G20. Prime Minister Harper has made clear his intention to do nothing on climate change, and we need to show the world that this is NOT the Canadian way.

We refuse to sit on the sidelines as Mr. Harper drags Canada’s reputation through the tar sands. Canadians will make the trip to Toronto to show the world that we stand for investing in clean energy jobs, regulating industrial pollution, and supporting poorer countries as they too move towards a better future.

To get in touch and coordinate with other climate activists who are making the Journey to the G8/G20, check out the map, and register your event details.

At the Table 2010

At the Table is a Canadian and global civil society campaign, mobilizing citizens to “take their place” alongside world leaders at the G8 and G20 summits. It is a call to leaders to show leadership and make progress on key climate change issues.

What you can do:

1. Take your place:  Sign our declaration.
2. Show your support:  Take part in the Flat Leader Photo Petition.
3. Organize an At the Table Dinner and invite your Member of Parliament
