Join Climate Action Network Canada
Joining or renewing membership in Climate Action Network Canada is easy.
- Read CAN-Canada’s Charter and Domestic Policy Statement located here. (If you are planning to join CAN, the membership statement should be read by the most senior executive at your organization).
- Fill in our online form, located here.
- Determine if your organization qualifies for Member or Associate status (see note below)
- Print the form.
- Sign the form.
- Make out a cheque for $40.00 (your annual fee), payable to “Climate Action Network Canada.” and mail the completed form to:

Please Note
CAN-RAC does not accept individuals as members.
There are two membership categories:
- Member (incorporated not for profit organizations)
- Associate (unincorporated not for profit having at least 5 members)
The annual membership fee is $40 for Members or Associates. Yearly membership fees cover the period beginning January 1st and ending December 31st. All fees are due January 1st.
To be a member in good standing:
- all member dues must be paid in full
- a signed copy of the CAN-RAC platform must be on file at the CAN-RAC National office in Ottawa; and
- the organization's application must be approved at one of the Board of Directors' regular semi-monthly meetings.
